چکیده

This paper studies a Markov model of queuing-inventory system with primary, retrial, and feedback customers. Primary customers form Poisson flow, if an inventory level is positive upon their arrival, they instantly receive the items. If equal to zero arrival primary customer, then this according Bernoulli scheme, either leaves or goes into infinite buffer repeat request in future. The rate retrial constant, orbit remains its According each served customer feedbacks request. Destructive that flow cause damage Unlike customers, destructive do not require items, since, such decreases by one. adopted one two replenishment policies: (s, Q) S). In both policies, lead time random variable has exponential distribution. It shown mathematical under study was two-dimensional chain state space. Algorithms for calculating elements generating matrices constructed chains were developed, ergodicity conditions policies found. To calculate steady-state probabilities, matrix-geometric method used. Formulas found main performance measures system. results numerical experiments, including minimization total cost, are demonstrated.

Application of queuing theory in inventory systems with substitution flexibility

Considering the competition in today’s business environment, tactical planning of a supply chain becomes more complex than before. In many multi-product inventory systems, substitution flexibility can improve profits. This paper aims to prepare a comprehensive substitution inventory model, where an inventory system with two substitute products with ignorable lead time has been considered, and e...

Developing EOQ model with instantaneous deteriorating items for a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) system

This paper studies the economic-order-quantity model (EOQ) for deteriorating items in two cases (with and without shortages) to evaluate how vendor managed inventory (VMI) affects supply chain. We consider two-level supply chain (single supplier and a single retailer) with one instantaneous deteriorating item. A numerical example and sensitivity analysis are provided to illustrate the effect of...

An inventory model for non-instantaneous deteriorating items with imperfect quality, delay in payments and time value money

In this paper, Economic Order Quantity ( ) based model for non-instantaneous deteriorating items with imperfect quality, permissible delay in payments and inflation is proposed. We adopt a time-dependent demand function. Also, the effects of time value of money are studied using the Discounted Cash Flow approach. Moreover, we assume that orders may contain a random proportion of defective items...

An Optimal Ordering Policy for Inventory Model with Non-Instantaneous Deteriorating Items and Stock-Dependent Demand

In this paper we shall discuss with the optimal ordering policy for two warehouse inventory model of non-instantaneous deteriorating items and stock-dependent demand. Here shortage is not allowed. Here the holding and deteriorating costs in both warehouses are different and assumed that the holding cost in the RW(rented warehouse) than in the OW(owned warehouse) the optimal solution are shown. ...
